About Us
Sofia Somal has over 12 years of experience in Project Management with extensive experience managing complex IT Projects for many Fortune 500 companies including Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, and United Airlines. She began her career in Finance as a Financial Project Manager and evolved into positions including Senior Project Manager and then Director of PMO. Working in both Finance and IT environments, Sofia has a vast understanding of Business and IT Project Management.
In her role as Director of PMO, Sofia fosters an environment of teamwork and ensures that the strategies are clearly defined while implementing and managing project portfolio. Sofia has managed and coordinated project activities with stakeholders in and out of the IT department.
Her strong communication and client service skills enhance Project Pro's Inc. strategy and process management. Sofia is a Certified Project Management Professional since 2010 and she is also a Certified Scrum Master. Sofia has earned many Degrees including: Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Communication, Master’s of Business Administration in Strategic Management, and a Master of Arts in Information Systems Management.
